This workshop is a part of the Mini-E3 series to educate, enlighten and empower the women of our community.

It will be filled with insight about our lives and how we feel about the different aspects of it. This information will apply to you if you are retired, working, thinking about retirement, or starting on a new phase of your life. We will have coffee and light refreshments for you.

Dr. Suzanne Yancey Bush, MD, FACOG, NCMP

Suzanne Bush is an Obstetrician/Gynecologist dividing her time as an Associate Professor between Florida State University, College of Medicine and the University of Florida, College of Medicine. For FSU College of Medicine is the Educational Director for OB/GYN, working primarily with medical students, curriculum, and evaluation. As faculty for UF College of Medicine she oversees instruction of clinical OB/GYN with the resident physicians at Sacred Heart Hospital Women’s Care Center. Dr. Bush is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and holds a BS degree from Auburn University and a Medical Degree from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. For the last 10years, she has maintained additional certification as a North American Menopause Certified Practioner (NCMP).  Dr. Bush has been happily married to Greg Bush for 30 years. They have two children. Dr. Bush loves to cook, sew, and putter in her yard in her free time.

Dr. Bush is no stranger to Women’s Health, having spent 25 years as a physician with The Women’s Group, here in Pensacola and 15 years in academic medicine, where she has had various roles.

Drawing on years of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Bush now focuses mainly on education of medical students and training resident physicians in Women’s Health. Dr. Bush has been nationally recognized as an educator, teaching at faculty development seminars for both OB/GYN and Family Medicine. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as in the top 10% of Faculty of FSU. She has published articles or text book chapters on various subjects from The Angry Patient, Preconception Care of the Diabetic Patient, and providing feedback for medical students in the clinical setting, among others.

Dr. Bush is passionate about working with the Power of E3 because the key to aging well is to never stop learning. Dr. Bush is new to The Power of E3; first, as a speaker at the annual conference and now as a member of the board.
